Services

In all the older posts I have talked about products, but it is not the only thing that is offered in the market. Besides products, in the market, services are also offered. The differences between both of them are:

• Intangibility: services are not physical
• Inseparability: services are produced and consumed simultaneously
• Variability: they depend on who provides them and where they are provided
• Perishability: services can not be stored

Now that we have defined products, we can set an example. A massage is a services. Is not tangible, it is consumed the moment is is produced so it can not be stored and you will consume it or not depending on what moment it is offered.
